Ah yea its been a while. I am back in school full time, on top of working full time, and then dance inthe evenings... that equals zero free time for Allie :)!! I'm loving it all though, so it's all good.

I just got home from class about 30 minutes ago. Tonight I had to give my power point presentation. I was nervous as ever because I was gone the last time we had class because of my dance performance in Willy Wonka. I did not get to see any presentations to see what other's looked like. We had to choose some topic in education, and make a 10min presentation on 5 power point slides. Now, that's like asking me to summerize a 15 page paper in half a page... close to impossible. The topic I chose was Technology in Education. I figured I'd better pick something that I was interested in. It was very difficult to compact info, but I did it :)! It ended up going very well, and all my peer feedback sheets were very positive - woohoo!! YAY for having big assignments over with! This one was worth 50pts, so hopefully I did okay.

 

Today at work was pajama day!! Greatest day of the year! I wasn't feeling well last night, or this morning, so getting to wear my pajamas to work was the greatest thing that could've happened to me! I wore my pink pajama pants w/ a little kitten called Pussyfoot from Looney Toons, my long sleeve tinkerbell pajama shirt, and my pink slippers that Allison gave me for Christmas last year. It was cute to see all the kids in their pajamas. One of the kindergarteners I work with, when getting their lunch said, "It looks like a big slumber party in here!" It was too cute!

 

This is officially weekend 2 of freedom. After being in rehearsals consistantly for 5 months straight, doing nothing on a saturday and sunday afternoon and evening is GLORIOUS!!! A fellow classmate tonight invited me to go to a local concert with her tomorrow night, but I had to turn her down. It was really sweet of her, and normally I would have loved to go, but I really want nothing more than to just be home and do NOTHING. This week has been a crazy week full of many late nights and early mornings due to homework. I had a paper and presentation due tonight at school so I spent many-a-late nights this week after work and dance working on those. Tomorrow night I want to stay home and lay in my bed cuddling with Lucy and watch a movie. Ahhh - sounds wonderful!

 

Hmmm... so that is that! I am going to try to update this more often now that two of my classes are finishd. Hah - i always say that don't I? Well, time for bed. I will post a picture of my baby girl laying on a book i purchased the other night.... hehe - she certainly belongs to me! The other picture is me wearing my new Dunn Brothers Coffee sweatshirt with a delicious cup of coffee in my hand, while standing in a dunn brother coffee shop. One of the baristas insisted on taking a picture... so we did :)! That was taken like 3 weeks ago.
