Well, its been 3 months since i last wrote in here, and trust me, it has NOT been on purpose! Things in the life of allie have been crazy, but I finally decided to take a minute to slow down and actually write here. Haha - yea right. The only reason i'm writing in here right now is because I can find what i'm looking for online, and am getting frustrated b/c of it, so am taking a break before i lose my mind :)

As i type, i am sitting slumped down in a squishy couch at a dunn brothers. Looking outside makes me cry silently. It's very gray and disgusting looking :(. Its been cold, rainy, cloudy, and gray like this for the past couple days. I want the sun to come back. Ah well - sitting in a coffee shop w/ a delicious hot latte always makes me feel a bit better, and forget that there's no sun. It's reminding me of the harry potter book i'm listening to again. I've obviously read all the books, but am listening to them in the car on my ipod now. I'm currently listening to the 6th book, and if you are familiar with "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince", the weather is always gray, and gloomy due to the escaped dementors breeding :)! I'll blame the weather on escaped dementors - how does that sound?!

Well, i thought things would slow down once Oliver finished, but I was wrong. Right after Oliver, I was busy helping edit the DVD for it, and then started a million other projects for work. Additionally, i'm now teaching 2 classes on Saturday at dance. Those just started a month ago. On top of that we've been working on Retrollegro, our next ballet performance which is next Friday. I wasn't able to really concentrate on it at all during Oliver b/c i had too much other choreography running thru my head. Now the show is only 6 days away, and last Wed was the first time I really felt comfortable about it. It's been a little nuts editing the music for it, and I want to get it done before I leave for Chicago. It's not that it takes a long time to do, it's just REaLLY time consuming, and can easily turn into a headache.

Yesterday was a crazy, drive all over minnesota, day. It was the end of the 3rd quarter, so we were off from work. My friend Kari and I went up to this outlet mall in Albertville, about 30 mins north from where I live. Then we drove 1hr in the opposite direction to go to the mall of america. She had never eaten at Bubba Gumps before,and I wanted her to try it - it's my FAVORITE seafood restraunt. We are both HUGE disney fans, and that new "Meet The Robinsons" movie came out, so we went to see that at the theaters there after we ate. SUUUUUPER CUTE movie, and i highly recommend it! After the movie, we drove thru rush hour traffic, back to drop Kari off at her car, and then i headed out to Stillwater where I met up with Allison, her roommate Whitney, and two of Allison's friends to see her old dance studios ballet performance of Cinderella. It was a lot of fun! We at at TGIFridays afterward. Then i got home at 12am exhausted. I crashed on the couch downstairs at like 1am, and was dead asleep till 8:30am when i woke and got up.

Chicago.... Chicago is where I will be leaving for in 2 days :)! I cannot wait!! I'm going with 4 other people from my work. We will be there from monday - thursday. It'll be a short trip, but it will be a lot of fun, i'm sure! I'm going to see Wicked on Tuesday with my aunt, and 2 people that I work with. I am SOOOOOOOOO excited for it!!! Allison and Whitney saw it a couple weeks ago when they were down there and said it was fantastic! WooHoo! Our other plans on the trip are to go to one of the many museums, the aquarium, planetarium, navy pier...etc. Our hotel is right downtown next to Lake Michigan and Millennium park. We're within a miles walk of everything. We are bringing our roller blades, so hopefully the weather sticks out for us, so we can roller blade at least one of the days there. Ugh, we've got this awful low pressure system sitting over us giving us all this crappy weather. I am censoring my words mind you. I'm not happy about this weather at all. Just move on and get our of here. Of course we'll get the crappiest spring break weather EVER. GRRRR!

Alrighty, i better get going. The internet sucks here at the library/DB right now. I can't get a solid signal. There are a million other people here, so i imagine that could be part of the reason, but i don't really know. It's frustrating b/c it keeps signing on then off. I wish the website I want would just work!!!!! I've spent 2hrs working on this stupid thing, and it wont work for me!! I feel terrible b/c I just got off the phone w/ my friend Allison. I was planning on going to her bday party, but I just can't. I've gotten nothing done of what i need to get done because it wont work, and now I need to drive up to Rogers to pick up a video camera for the Retrollegro performance. AHHHH I'M GOING CRAZY. See - this always happens right before I leave to go on a trip, and I think it's for the sake of the reason that I actually enjoy my trip when i'm on it. Trust me - i certainly will welcome it with open arms :)!
